The world has changed over the last year. We have launched the #SpringIntoPlay campaign in response to a year of pandemic. COVID-19 has presented unprecedented new challenges to children – including the loss of time in school, tragedies at home, isolation, separation from friends and a loss of play.
The truth of its impact is shocking in its clarity.
Bringing access to sports and play programs to all kids – regardless of their race, gender, zip code or socioeconomic status – is the Play Equity Movement’s heartbeat.
We must respond to this current crisis with the same spirit of urgency.
There is so much potential around us. We serve as catalysts to encourage the potential of youth through the power of sport.
As schools, parks, after-school and sports programs reopen, we are seizing this opportunity to support kids after they have spent the last year living through hardships while isolated in home confinement.
Strengthening the youth sports ecosystem to bring kids joy, healthy activity and togetherness demands all of us. The #SpringIntoPlay campaign is committed to bringing needed resources to our community and nonprofit partners.
With your help, we will bring funding to organizations who are already working with kids – those who provide youth afterschool and enrichment opportunities in underserved communities. After this challenging year, these organizations across our region need our support.

Your generous support will enable us to bring the transformational power of sport and play to all children. Sports has never been more important as we work to close the Play Equity gap. With your immediate support we will invest in program staff and coaches, PPE, play equipment, transportation and other resources to safely get children back to doing what they are entitled to: Play!
We have ambitious goals to drive long-term systems change, and we are actively seeking partners from all sectors. The Play Equity Movement is built on collaboration as together we seek brave new solutions to build conditions for kids to succeed through opportunity and access to the transformative value of sports.
